Welcome to Professor Carole Torgerson

The Department of Education is delighted to welcome Professor Carole Torgerson.

Professor Ian Davies warmly welcomed Prof Torgerson to the department saying "To work with an academic of the international standing of Professor Torgerson is a fantastic opportunity for Centre for Research on Education and Social Justice (CRESJ). We look forward to a very positive future in which we enhance even further our work to understand and contribute to social justice in education"

Professor Carole Torgerson is delighted to join CRESJ and is looking forward to developing collaborations with colleagues within the research centre. She has a background in English and music education and an expertise in the use of systematic review and experimental designs to evaluate educational and social policy.
