CRESJ duo present at the University of Leeds event

Professor Paul Wakeling and Dr. Sally Hancock presented at 'Increasing progression to, and success in, taught postgraduate study' at the University of Leeds.

Whilst summer term may have long been over, our staff are eternally busy!

The one day event, hosted at the University of Leeds, intended on breaking down social barriers that stop under-represented and minority groups progressing to further study. The event provided strategies for long-term institutional impact. Speakers were sourced from the University of Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Warwick and York.

Dr. Hancock and Professor Wakeling’s talk was titled “Evaluating impact: Benefits, Challenges and Alternatives of a Randomised Control Trial as an Evaluation Methodology”, after which Professor Wakeling went on to chair a discussion about widening participation at postgraduate taught level. A huge congratulations from everyone at CRESJ and our colleagues on presenting their research at this important event.
