I am a Research Trainee in the Department of Education at the University of York, where my current role contributes to research exploring effective wellbeing-focused media literacy interventions for adolescents. My primary research interests focus on the complexities of young people's mental health and wellbeing, specifically in relation to stigma, help-seeking behaviours, and the digital world.
My academic background includes an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of York, and a Master's degree in Clinical and Health Psychology from the University of Manchester. My Master's research investigated the lived experiences and subjective perceptions of stigma among parents with serious mental illnesses.
