Visit Days for offer holders
Thank you for taking part in our visit days for offer holders earlier this year. We hope you found it useful in making the choice about which university is right for you.
What is a visit day?
A visit day is your opportunity to get to know us better. Find out more about your department and course, and chat with academic staff and students.
When do they take place?
Our Visit Days take place between February and May. Arrangements vary by department, not all departments will take part in every Visit Day. If you're required to attend an interview, you may not need to attend a separate Visit Day. Interview days often include similar activities to help you get to know your department better.

Thank you to all the student ambassadors, staff and volunteers. You could really tell that a lot of effort had been put in to make the day as welcoming and informative as possible. I had a great time.

The hospitality was amazing as everyone was extremely welcoming. I spoke to current students and some staff along with viewing the accommodation and campus in general. The experience was brilliant.

Not sure what to expect?
Follow Hannah, one of our Graduate Ambassadors, as she takes a look around. From viewing accommodation in the morning, to checking out your department in the afternoon, watch her vlog to see what's involved.
I enjoyed the day. I felt like I was getting a more personal look around York as an offer holder. It made me very motivated for my exams and excited to hopefully start studying at the University.
