Professional Network events are designed to provide alumni who have an interest in a particular industry or career-related question to network in a professional setting. By hosting a Professional Network event, you’ll enable us to continue providing these valuable opportunities to our students, graduates and senior alumni. 

Benefits for everyone

Previous hosts have also found that it’s been a benefit to them, making for a positive partnership. The Networks support student and graduate enterprise and employment, and have a proven track record of opening doors to successful recruitment connections. Hosting a Network event would provide you with a valuable opportunity to promote your organisation as a graduate destination to York students and recent graduates. We work with our Network Hosts to agree the overarching theme, as well as the makeup of the panel, which can include a representative from the Venue Host, as well as prominent York alumni and friends working in the industry.

Requirements

  • Be available weekday pms until 8:30pm.
  • Format consists of; welcome drinks, panel discussion, drinks and networking
  • A venue suitable to hold 40 - 100 people
  • Time commitment: Approximately 10 hours, including pre-event discussions.
