Welcome to our new academic staff

We are very pleased to welcome two new lecturers to the Centre; Dr Rachel Alsop and Dr Boriana Alexandrova.

We are very please to welcome Dr Rachel Alsop and Dr Boriana Alexandrova to the Centre for Women's Studies.

Dr Rachel Alsop was formerly at the University of Hull and had co organised, for many years, the Gender Studies Centre there and is an editor of the Journal of Gender Studies, soon to be located at York. Rachel will be the Programme Director for the new MA Women and Gender Studies (GEMMA) programme.

Dr Boriana Alexandrova has been an Associate Lecturer in the Department of English, here at York, and was convenor of the MA in Medical History. Boriana is the new Director of Learning and Teaching.
