Frontiers of Fusion is an annual event, consisting of many exciting talks from external visitors, and a student-led conference where Fusion MSc and CDT students can share their research and network....
FoF2020 (27 April - 1 May 2020) will combine exciting talks from people working in fusion today and the students who will lead us into the future. Throughout the week, attendees will be exposed to talks from leaders in fusion research and also be exposed to the work of students in the MSc and PhD programmes. Additional social events will strengthen ties between members of the fusion community and provide opportunity for members in the various associated fields to get to know each other.
The conference will be structured with two and a half days (27 - 29 April) of presentations from external speakers, followed by a two and a half day student-led conference (29 April - 1 May). During this conference, CDT students from years 2-4 will present talks based upon their research with the 1st years and Masters students presenting posters on the Thursday afternoon.
