Travel to York

Train

York is on the main East Coast main railway line which links London's Kings Cross station with Edinburgh. Tickets should be booked well in advance to avoid high charges on the day, please note tickets purchased in advance are usually valid for the specified train time. Most train companies sell tickets through their own websites, but a convenient site for all tickets is the train line. If coming from the UK we recommend coming by rail as this will avoid finding places to park.
