Biography

Elisabeth joined Languages for All in January 2022, teaching French and German. 
 
She studied French and Italian at the University of Oxford, UCL, and the University of Warwick,
where she completed a PhD focusing on eighteenth-century literature and history.

She has taught languages, history and literature at several universities and also trained as a
teacher with the Researchers in Schools Programme, where she combined her work as a
secondary modern languages teacher (French, German, and Spanish) with educational
research.

Elisabeth is passionate about teaching and learning languages, and is particularly interested in
approaches that combine linguistic and cultural aspects.
