Evaluation of the Alcohol Improvement Programme

The project aims to evaluate:

  1. the effectiveness, cost-effectiveness and appropriateness of the Alcohol Improvement Programme (AIP) to develop a delivery system which prioritises and delivers action to achieve a decrease in alcohol-related hospital admissions,
  2. the effectiveness of the Early Implementation Programme (EIP) to facilitate speedier/ more effective implementation of the delivery system,
  3. the effectiveness and appropriateness of each programme component, and its contribution to the AIP as a whole.
