Rachel, Sara and Simon were recognised for their work spanning teaching-research-practice divides, collectively working to strengthen connections across the University and in wider communities, coordinating Refugee Week, supporting scholarships, challenging refugee representations and working with students, activists and organisations to advance inclusion.
The event was hosted by the Vice-Chancellor Charlie Jeffery and the Pro-Vice Chancellor for Partnerships and Engagement Kiran Trehan, who noted that finalists had been selected from over a hundred nominations for work which had distinguished itself through its genuine commitment to creating meaningful impact.
