Withdrawing or suspending a programme

The withdrawal or suspension of an existing programme of study, including changes from a UCAS coded entry point to a non UCAS entry point, requires the approval of University Planning Committee, and additionally the York Graduate Research School for Research programmes. 

Your Planning Officer will confirm approval. In most cases where the proposal is straightforward and, in the case of combined degree programmes, provided that all contributing departments assent, approval will be through the Dean of the appropriate Faculty on behalf of Planning Committee.
