Biography

Kamal Huseynli is a PHD researcher at the University of York, Department of Geography and Environment. He did his BSC in International University in Geneva and his Master at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. He has more than 6 years’ experience on railway economics sector.

Overview

Do the present macroeconomic decisions of Azerbaijan promote the sustainable development of countries during energy transformation period? The study will explain how Azerbaijan needs to create sustainability practices for a better economic growth to the current and future generations. The description of economic sustainability using green energy will be explained using social, environmental, and economic aspects. The key challenges are to stabilize government’s economic growth during energy transformation period from oil to green energy and build up an economic model for saving and managing resources efficiently and minimizing the potential risks of country’s economy throughout the transformation process. The aim is to conclude research with an economic model which could be useful for an academic people and government officials at the same time for developing and implementing new strategies within countries from practical aspect in the near future.
