Biography

Overview
Duncan is a research technician in the department of Environment and Geography, working on a Unilever funded project reviewing indicators of biodiversity and ecosystem function.
 
Duncan's research interests include conservation biology, spatial ecology, biodiversity and climate change. Prior to returning to study as a mature student in 2013, Duncan worked with tropical marine fish and corals in the public and private aquarium industry. 
 
Qualifications
MSc in Biology (by research), University of York, 2018. 
Thesis "Spatial analysis of animal abundance changes in relation to illegal activities" Supervised by Dr. Colin Beale
