Three members of PERC presented at the 28th International Congress of Applied Psychology in Paris, France on 10 July 2014

These talks related to the diverse perspectives on teacher-student relationships. Kathyrn Ashbury’s presentation was titled ‘A genetically sensitive study of the perceived influence of teacher-pupil relationships on academic achievement and future plans’. Nora McIntyre also did a presentation on classroom communication through teacher gaze, as did Rob Klassen whose talk related to teachers’ gaze patterns and teaching engagement.
