The episode, themed The Building Block of Life and Intelligence, featured Kathryn alongside geneticist Alison Woollard, Professor of Surgical Education Roger Kneebone and conductor Sir Mark Elder.

Psychology in Education academic Kathryn has been making a splash in the media with the launch of her book about genetics and education, G is for Genes, co-authored with Professor Robert Plomin.

Kathryn’s recent appearances include BBC Radio Four’s Moral Maze, Radio 5 Live and World Service’s The Forum, plus Radio New Zealand. G is for Genes has been reviewed in the Economist and Nature journal. Kathryn has also written recently for The Spectator Coffee House and the Yorkshire Post.
