Has been in the Middlesbro Workhouse and has lately been much depressed. Occasionally raving about strange men being in the ward. She suspects all around her of speaking evil of her and has tried to get out of the hospital to get away from the imaginary men. Admitted suffering from General paralysis.
Jan 19th A dark well nourished woman. Hair dark, complexion dark, eyes brown, pupils dilated but equal. Skin normal no marks or bruises. Tongue furred bowels confined. Heart and lung sounds normal. She is rather tremulous about the mouth and facial muscles when she speaks. Jo. Kershaw
Jan 20th Eats and sleeps well, but is much depressed Jo. Kershaw
Jan 21st Cries and moans, does not occupy herself. Jo. Kershaw
Feb 1st The tremor is more marked about the face especially the left side. Tongue protruded to the opposite side. Jo. Kershaw
Feb 10th Is in much the same state. Clean in her habits. Jo. Kershaw
Feb 22nd She now has tremor extending to left arm and hand. These twitching movements come on at all times and last indefinite periods. Jo. Kershaw
March 10 Has been taking Liq. Arsenicalis which has diminished the twitching of the face. She is more cheerful. Jo. Kershaw
April 15th The twitching movements are more diminished. Jo. Kershaw
May 10th She has become very deeply pigmented about the face. Jo. Kershaw
June 20 We and dirty in her habits now. Health fair. Jo. Kershaw
Aug 10 Has not improved mentally or physically. Jo. Kershaw
Sept 11th Is much depressed. Have stopped the Liq. Arsenicalis. Jo. Kershaw
Nov 11th Tremor not so marked. Is getting very stout. Health fair. Jo. Kershaw
Dec 20th She has almost lost the twitching movements. Health fair. Jo. Kershaw
1894 Jan 20th She is very stout. Very demented. Dirty in her habits. Health fair. Jo. Kershaw
