The Department supports staff members and students who have family responsibilities and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for everyone.

Information for students

The Department of Politics and the University of York are committed to the support and fair treatment of students during pregnancy, maternity, paternity, the process of adoption and whilst breastfeeding. The University has introduced a set of policies enabling students who have parental responsibilities to continue their studies and be supported during their time in York.
