Module and programme information

First year modules

First year students should refer to the First Year Programme Handbook 2021-22 (MS Word , 113kb) for details of the modules they will be taking in their first year.

Philosophy Single Subject students can choose to take an elective in another department or a Language for All module to replace the First Year Project and one of the 10-credit summer term philosophy modules.

Second year modules

The Guide to Philosophy modules for 2nd Year Students in 2021-22 (MS Word , 265kb) contains information about the programme structure and Philosophy modules available for students on the following programmes:

  • French and Philosophy
  • German and Philosophy
  • History and Philosophy
  • Mathematics and Philosophy
  • Philosophy and Linguistics
  • Philosophy and Sociology
  • Physics with Philosophy

Students taking degrees within the School of Philosophy, Politics and Economics, the School of Natural Sciences or the School of Social and Political Sciences should consult their own departments for module and programme information.
