Event details

Come and discover the fascinating world of enzymes with our researchers from the Centre for Novel Agricultural Products (CNAP) and the York Structural Biology Laboratory (YSBL)! Learn how enzymes are discovered, what their function is and how they hold the key to a sustainable future. Our scientists will demonstrate the importance of the superfamily of Cytochrome P450 biocatalysts in our daily life; they will tell you more about curious small organisms that can lead to the production of new-generation biofuels and will guide you through the process of creating hemp-based biorefineries.
