Astronomy is looking up! Or is it? Find out how the modern science of astronomy works as Dr Emily Brunsden of the University of York describes the working life of an astronomer. This talk includes a virtual tour of large research telescopes and a chance to ask your burning questions about the Universe.
 
This event is aimed at 7 - 11 year olds but open to all children and their families. It is validated as part of York Children's University, so if you have a York CU passport, bring it along to collect a sticker for the talk.
