I completed my integrated masters degree in Physics MPhys at the University of Pisa (Italy). I also hold an MSc in Optics (University of Florence, Italy), an MSc in Mathematical Logic and Theoretical Computer Science (University of Siena, Italy), a PGD in Control Engineering (University of Coventry, UK), an MSc in Medical and Radiation Physics (University of Birmingham, UK), and a PhD in Computer Science (University of Chester, UK).
Before moving to the University of York, I worked as a Medical Physicist at the North Wales Cancer Treatment Centre and as a Research Associate (Experimental Psychology) at the University of Leeds. I joined the Department of Mathematics at the University of York in 2019 as an Associate Lecturer (Teaching and Scholarship).
