Profile

Biography

I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physics from the Ruprecht-Karls University Heidelberg, including an ERASMUS exchange semester at the University of Helsinki. Afterwards, I moved to Leipzig, where I obtained my PhD in physics at the University of Leipzig under the supervision of Prof. Hollands. This was followed by a postdoc position at Institut Fourier of the University Grenoble-Alpes, before I joined the department as a Walter-Benjamin Fellow.

Overview

Quantum effects and quantum measurements in astrophysical spacetimes

Projects

The aim of the project of my Walter-Benjamin fellowship is twofold. The first aim is to construct explicit and physically motivated examples of Hadamard states on rotating black hole spacetimes in a mathematically rigorous manner. The second aim is to look at cosmological applications of the measurement framework due to Fewster & Verch.
