Families and individuals

We have a huge variety of records produced by, or relating to, individual people, including the important archive of the Wood family of Hickleton (Earls of Halifax), the archive of the Yarburgh family of Heslington Hall, York, and of Lady Violet Deramore who lived at the Hall later; the Barbados papers of the Lascelles family (Earls of Harewood); and the letters and papers of the Milnes Coates family of Helperby Hall; as well as the archives of several Quaker families: the Rowntrees, Tukes and Procter, Adams and Richardson family.
