Single Molecule FRET & C-Trap North-East: Preliminary Showcase and Demonstration Day

Friday 13 March 2026
Please register using this link.

Join us on 13 March at the Bioscience Technology Facility, University of York, for a one-day event showcasing our cutting-edge single-molecule technologies for interested research groups and external users.

We will also introduce case studies as part of our North East consortium across Durham, Newcastle, York and Hull.  These will highlight how our suite of open-access core facility instrumentation can uncover insights into the binding kinetics and motility of selective, rare or even force-dependent events that are inaccessible via conventional methods.

In the afternoon, you will be invited to participate in advanced demonstrations of our EI FLEX and LUMICKS C-Trap single-molecule instruments run by our core facility staff and application scientists.

Please report to Biology Reception on arrival from 10 - 10.30am then proceed to B/Q/014.

This event will take place within the Technology Facility at the University of York.
