Scheduling interviews
In most cases, online interviews provide a better candidate experience by removing the need to travel to an interview.
Online interviews are also more aligned to our sustainability plan and are much more cost effective.
We recommend using Zoom for online interviews. It is a well-known, fully-featured video-calling service that is supported by the University.
If there is a reason or clear benefit to interviewing in person, consider if some initial stages could be done online. For example, a first round of online interviews could identify those candidates that you would like to invite to campus for further assessment.
