Launched through the Technician Commitment Collaboration Fund, the Yorkshire Technician Exchange Partnership (YoTEP) was created to foster an open, supportive network for technical staff across Yorkshire.
Through these exchanges, technicians can explore new techniques, share practical knowledge, and build lasting collaborations across diverse disciplines - from the sciences to the arts. Many visits have already sparked reciprocal trips, ongoing projects, and vibrant professional connections, with more than 60 exchanges completed to date across the Universities of York, Leeds, and Sheffield.
In 2026 with support from the White Rose Community Fund, YoTEP proudly expanded to welcome the University of Sheffield alongside founding partners York and Leeds.

Whether you want to master a specific method, tour another facility, or share your own expertise, we would love for you to get involved.
