Prof Robin Wooffitt is new Head of Department

Prof Mike Savage, Head of Department May 2011 to April 2012, is leaving the University at the end of September to become Head of Department at the London School Of Economics. Professor Wooffitt takes the reins from him and will head the department for the next 12 months.
Prof Wooffitt is the Director of the Anomalous Experiences Research Unit, which specialises in social scientific analysis of the characteristics and contexts of experiences that suggest anomalous psychological processes and agencies, and exceptional states of consciousness.
