Case studies from York, Leeds and Sheffield were shown to mark the end of an ESRC fund awarded in 2018

On Wednesday 8 May, the Universities of York, Leeds and Sheffield hosted a 'Working in Partnership Showcase' to mark the end of the ESRC IAA Business Boost fund that they had been awarded in 2018.

The Showcase brought together like-minded representatives from academia, private, public and third sector organisations to examine the components of successful research collaborations between industry and academia. There were case studies from three projects across the institutions which included, the Future Fashion Factory, Regional Technology Foresight and Assuring Autonomy International Programme.

A high-level multi-stakeholder panel discussed how organisational innovation can create business growth and improved profitability. Attendees heard from a diverse range of speakers, which included Groundswell Innovation, Your Start-up Your StoryESRCThe York Management School and Leeds University Business School.

The conference came to a close with an informal networking reception with representatives of interdisciplinary centres from across the WRDTP.

We were delighted to have Nifty Fox Creative present throughout the event and during the networking session to demonstrate how a live scribe comes together.
