Children's Air Ambulance need speakers

The Children’s Air Ambulance are looking for volunteers to help to raise awareness about the work of Your Local Air Ambulance and The Children’s Air Ambulance. During the pandemic, The Children’s Air Ambulance adapted their fundraising methods and they are now making use of new online ways of connecting. They are looking for volunteers to help deliver these messages virtually.
 
Volunteers will promote the work of The Children’s Air Ambulance at virtual school assemblies, and approach companies, groups and supporters in their local area to make connections and set up online speaking engagements. Volunteers will also join local, virtual networking events on behalf of the charity. There may also be opportunities to attend in-person events as restrictions ease, however, this is not compulsory.
 
This role is great for anyone looking to gain public speaking experience. 
 
Skills required:
  • Confident in public speaking
  • Personable, with the ability to engage a wide range of audiences
  • Previous experience of presenting would be useful, but not essential
  • Commitment
    • This role is very flexible, however, we ask that you commit to a minimum of 4 talks per year or 2 hours a month
    • Talk are offered throughout the year
    • Dates and timed to be arranged with the organisation
     
    Location
    This role is home-based and all presentations will be delivered virtually via various online platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
     
    Training and support
    Training will be provided and you will be supported by the Community Fundraising Executive in your area.
