Rules:

  • Students take 120 credits: 60 credits in each semester.
  • In S1 students take two x CORE Philosophy modules.
  • In S1 students take one x CORE Sociology module.
  • In S2 students take one x CORE Philosophy module.
  • In S2 students take one x CORE Sociology module.
  • In S2 students take one x 20 credit Philosophy Optional Module (or alternatively replace this with a YLE module).

Rules: 

  • Students take 120 credits: 60 credits in each Semester.
  • Students cannot choose any optional Sociology modules in Semester 1.
  • Students must choose exactly one optional Sociology module in Semester 2.
  • Students may alternatively replace one 20-credit Philosophy option module with a YLE, YIMS or general Elective module.
  • PHI00041H Philosophy Short Dissertation is entirely optional, and may be taken in S1 or S2.
  • Students will take 40 credits of Sociology modules, and 80 credits of Philosophy modules at Stage 3.
