BSc Maths and Philosophy
Year 1
Rules:
- Students take 120 credits: 60 credits in each semester.
- In S1 students take three x CORE modules.
- In S2 students taken two x CORE modules.
- In S2 students take one x Philosophy option module.
Year 2
Rules:
- Students take 120 credits: 60 credits in each semester.
- In S1 students will take one x CORE module in Maths MAT00051I Metric Spaces and one x CORE module in Philosophy PHI00121I Logic and Paradox.
- In S1 students will take one x Philosophy Option module.
- In S2 students will take two x CORE modules in Maths - MAT00046I Group, Rings & Fields and MAT00050I Linear Algebra.
- In S2 students will take one x Philosophy Option module.
Year 2 Philosophy option modules
Year 3
Rules:
- Students take 120 credits over the year.
- Students may weight their final year as follows:

- PHI00017H Foundations of Maths (CORE) S2
- Two Philosophy Options (taken S1 or S2)
- Three Maths Options (taken S1 or S2)
- Note that one Maths or Philosophy option may be replaced by one YLE/ YIM / Elective
