Year 2 Philosophy option modules

Year 3 Abroad

Students will experience the teaching of Philosophy in another linguistic context and philosophical tradition. They will further their linguistic and communication skills in their language of study. To receive a ‘Pass’ for the year abroad, students will be assessed via the fulfilment of their learning agreement and two essays, one per semester, in which they will reflect on their studies and experience of another culture.

Year 4

Rules:

Students take 120 credits: 60 credits in each semester.
Students must take 40 credits in Languages, and 60 credits in Philosophy.
The remaining 20 credits may be taken in either a further Philosophy Option Module or in a curated elective.
