Rules:

  • Students take 120 credits: 60 credits in each semester.
  • In S1 students take two x Philosophy CORE modules.
  • In S1 students take one x History option module.
  • In S2 students take two x History CORE modules.
  • In S2 students take one x Philosophy option module.

Structure A rules (with History Dissertation):

  • All students take the History Special Subject option (40 credits taken in two parts, one per semester).
  • All students must take two Philosophy options (one per semester)
  • PHI00041H Philosophy Short Dissertation is optional and may be taken in either S1 or S2.
  • All students take History Dissertation (40 credits) across Semester 1 and 2

Structure B rules (without History Dissertation):

  • All students must take the History Special Subject option (40 credits taken in two parts, one per semester)
  • All students must take one Philosophy option in S1 and S2
  • PHI00041H Philosophy Short Dissertation must be taken at Stage 3 in either S1 or S2.
  • The remaining 20 credits must either be a Comparative History Module, Philosophy Option Module (or Elective).
