This role is responsible for leading the non-student facing administrative team and ensuring the department runs as efficiently as possible

  • Offices- assigning desk/office space (staff)
  • Chair of Space Committee

  • Operations Meetings
  • Departmental Safety Advisor (DSA)
  • Department First Aider
  • Mental Health First Aider
  • Departmental assessor (DSE)
  • Staff sickness monitoring
  • Staff Visa Compliance 
  • FlexiLeave
  • Monitoring admin related inbox and responding to queries
  • Monitoring HoD inbox
  • Probation checks- new staff
  • Updating Moodle
  • Casual Workers
  • Procurement- approving spending
  • Training Officer
  • Event organising (oversee the team for non-student facing events)
  • Department website contact
  • Studentship financial coordinator
