Biography
Dr Emma Waring
PhD, MA (Cantab), LLM (Harvard)
Senior Lecturer
Emma was previously a Newton Trust Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Cambridge and a Fellow and Director of Studies in Law at St John's College, Cambridge. She is also a non-practising solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales, having qualified at Allen & Overy LLP and a non-practising Attorney & Counsellor at Law (NY). Before returning to the University of Cambridge for her doctorate supervised by Professor Kevin Gray, Emmaundertook a one-year secondment to the House of Lords working as a Judicial Assistant to the Law Lords, assigned to Lords Steyn, Walker and Carswell.
