Lecturer

After gaining my LLB degree in Law and European Studies at the University of Reading, with a year studying on the ERASMUS programme in Uppsala, Sweden, I undertook an LLM in International Law at the University of Sussex. I then returned to the University of Reading to complete my doctorate and was appointed a Teaching Fellow there before moving Northwards.

I have experience tutoring students in a range of law courses at the Universities of Sussex, Reading, Cardiff, Leeds and York. My particular areas of interest are social justice, legal pluralism and critical thinking and I have published a book entitled Thinking Critically About Law: A Students Guide (2018) London: Routledge.

I joined YLS in 2017. In 2022 I was awarded the 'Most Inspirational' award by University of York Student's Union.
