Cinzia Bacilieri and Marina Cantarutti recognised for excellent teaching

We are delighted that the Department of Language and Linguistic Science has been successful in winning two prestigious Vice Chancellor's Teaching Awards in the latest round. Both Cinzia Bacilieri, Lecturer in Italian, and Marina Cantarutti, Graduate Teaching Assistant, were recognized for excellence in teaching. The awards go to those who demonstrate

  • sustained excellence across a range of teaching and support activities;

  • creative approach to teaching and/or learning support, focused on student learning needs; and

  • evidence of an impact on colleagues as well as students.

The awards were presented at the summer graduation ceremonies in order to recognise outstanding teaching and learning support before their colleagues, students, and the students' families.
