YPL's new Short Report section

Posted on 4 December 2015

York Papers in Linguistics (YPL) launches a Short Report section.

York Papers in Linguistics

York Papers in Linguistics is pleased to announce the launch of the new Short Report section. This new section will give undergraduate students, postgraduate (both taught and research) students and staff the opportunity to submit an article up to 1500 words discussing either a particular aspect of their research or an aspect of linguistics that they find particularly interesting or wish to promote discussion on.

Short report articles will be hosted in a separate section of the York Papers in Linguistics website, which will also facilitate a comments section to promote thoughts and discussion from readers. We welcome short report submissions at any time throughout the year, and will will notify readers as and when articles are published. Submissions should be made via email to ypl@york.ac.uk.

We are excited about the launch of this new section, which will open up the York Papers in Linguistics output to all members of our department and beyond. The new section will be entirely complimentary to the journal, which will still offer in-depth research articles and be published towards the end of the academic year.
