Congratulations to our colleagues who have been awarded Vice-Chancellor's Teaching Awards this year.  The scheme recognises and rewards colleagues (academics, learning support staff, teaching 'teams' and postgraduates/postdocs who teach) who demonstrate excellence in teaching and/or learning support at York. 12 awards were made overall, 8 of which were for postgraduates who teach.  The awards will be presented at this summer's graduation ceremonies.

Marta's award was awarded for 'for the thoughtfulness and variety in her approaches to learning and teaching, in particular to involve quieter students; and in recognition of the esteem in which she is held by departmental staff.'
