Three Postgraduate scholarships + three international scholarships available

The Department of Language and Linguistic Science is pleased to be able to offer three new postgraduate scholarships to commence in 2011-2012. In addition, there are three types of scholarship available in 2011 for overseas students.

The Department of Language and Linguistic Science is happy to offer three new postgraduate scholarships to commence in 2011-2012.

The first is a Masters Scholarship for the new MA in Phonological Development in Childhood programme. The deadline for applications is 30 April 2011.

The second is an AHRC doctoral award. The deadline for applications is 2 March 2011.

The third is a Teaching Studentship in either Phonetics or Language Variation and Change. The successful PhD applicant will have knowledge of sociolinguistics and/or phonetics and phonology on starting their studies. The department offers a stipend of £13,500, matching current RCUK funds (not £5,000 as mentioned in the page below). The deadline for applicants is 30 April 2011.
