Biography

Wendy worked in the insurance industry after leaving school but got to the point where she felt it was time for a complete change of career. After visiting a number of universities with her son she realised that she too would like to get involved with university life, complete with its exciting and new opportunities. Wendy joined the University of York in January 2012 in the Post War Reconstruction Unit in the Politics Department as an administrator, and then moved to the MHARG in July 2012 as a research secretary.  She is now working as a Research Support Officer responsible for costings for research grant applications for MHARG. Her hobbies include horse riding, skiing, volleyball and cricket.
