Biography
Bev is a practising midwife with a particular interest in perinatal mental health, currently seconded as Lead Clinical Midwife with the Humber, Coast and Vale Local Maternity System. Her role involves implementing the actions from Better Births (2016) across the Humber, Coast and Vale region.
Bev commenced her PhD in October 2016, looking at paternal perinatal mental health. Her PhD project will involve reviewing the current evidence relating to fathers’ perinatal mental health; secondary analysis of an existing data set and a qualitative study of midwives views of fathers perinatal mental health.
