Biography

Aatik Arsh joined the DiaDeM (Diabetes and Depression Multimorbidity) Programme as a PhD student in November 2021.

Aatik has a background in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences. His current research examines the feasibility of combining Behavioural Activation with physical activity for the management of depression among adults with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Overview

Aatik’s research interest includes physical activity interventions for the prevention and management of non communicable diseases and mental illnesses. In addition, he is also involved in research related to rehabilitation of Person with Disabilities.
