Biography
Publa is a Research Associate in the Mental Health and Addiction Research Group currently working on the CARE project, which is researching the contextual factors of type 2 diabetes in Accra, Ghana.
Publa is finalising her PhD using qualitative methods to explore diabetes management in students as the transition and adapt to life at university at the University of Huddersfield.

Overview
Publa’s research interest lies in non-communicable disease (NCD) research and community change.
Publa is particularly interested in applying qualitative methods to NCD research areas to further develop social change among communities.
