Biography

Ellie has experience within the field of exercise and health and wellbeing holding the role of an inclusion assistant at a football club charity foundation. She also completed a research internship with the NIHR focusing on the physical activity interventions for improving public mental health delivered by local authorities and third-sector organisations.

  • BioDriveAFS – an RCT investigating the impact of a biomarker driven Antifungal Stewardship strategy on antifungal drug use and health related quality of life for patients with acute leukaemia

  • FLARE - A multi-centre, two-arm, non-inferiority, parallel group, randomised controlled trial with an internal pilot, economic evaluation and nested qualitative study, to assess whether the repair of the Flexor Digitorum Profundus (FDP) alone results in a as good as quality of life compared to repairing FDP and the Flexor Digitorum Superficialis (FDS).
