Biography

Ellie has experience within the field of exercise and health and wellbeing holding the role of an inclusion assistant at a football club charity foundation. She also completed a research internship with the NIHR focusing on the physical activity interventions for improving public mental health delivered by local authorities and third-sector organisations.

  • BioDriveAFS – an RCT investigating the impact of a biomarker driven Antifungal Stewardship strategy on antifungal drug use and health related quality of life for patients with acute leukaema.
  • SCOOTT - A multi-centre, superiority and non-inferiority three-arm RCT to assess the clinical and cost effectiveness of treating arthritis of the base of the thumb, with or without surgery and to determine the clinical and cost effectiveness of trapeziectomy versus base of thumb joint replacement.
