Disability and Mental Health
The Department of Health Sciences is committed to supporting staff and students who have disabilities including those who suffer from poor mental health.
Disability
The department's student disability lead is Sarah Redfern. Sarah's role is to liaise with University Disability Services located at Sally Baldwin Building. Karen Harper is the department's staff disability lead.

Mental Health
The Department promots positive mental health awareness and wellbeing to students and staff in the Department of Health Sciences. We understand and recognise the importance of looking after our own mental health and the mental health of those around us. The Department has a Mental Health Awareness and Wellbeing Group (MHAWG).
