New approaches to the recruitment, selection, and development of prospective teachers

For the last five years researchers at the Teacher Selection Project have worked to develop better ways to identify the best possible prospective teachers. Our research has recently expanded to include the testing of new ways to recruit and to develop new teachers. In this talk, I will present some of our project's latest research, and particularly focus on the use of online scenario-based learning tools to enhance the classroom readiness of trainees.
