Tales of Turning: a Postgraduate Seminar

Abi Shinn will be presenting a paper at the CREMS postgraduate forum on 'Tales of Turning: Conversion and Rhetoric in Early Modern England'.

Abi's paper will explore the stimulating connections between linguistic and religious turning revealed in early modern accounts of conversion, rhetoric manuals, and descriptions of tropes and methods for effective speaking. All students and staff are welcome to attend the paper and discussion.

Refreshments will be provided.
