Abdulrahman holds a master’s degree in biotechnology from the University of Glasgow and a PhD from the University of Nottingham. His PhD research focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms of FeFe hydrogenases, particularly with respect to their physiological role and oxygen stability. Currently, Abdulrahman is investigating protein-primed polymerases using Cryo-EM.
